So I finally booked my summer trip to the BOQ.
Each year, I go up with a big party to the kawartha lakes in Lindsay.
However, change of plans for this year.
This time, I'm going with a new group, and I finally get to check out the BOQ.

We booked at perfect Vue resort in July.
I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with this specific area, and can give me any tips or advise.
I'm not asking for specific hot spots as I know how that can be.

The picture is the location of our cottage
Thanks

Hey there. Ya. I live right out near there. That time of year when your coming can be great fishing within minutes don't even really have to put your motor down just start trolling. U head west towards shermans point. Stay just on the outside of the weed lines and you'll do good. Work harness great thing to come with or get them while your here.

Lots of hot spots there and it wont be a secret, just look for dozens of boats. Enjoy it and respect it.

Both shorelines produce as well ,,like mentioned above just follow the weedlines. Pm me when you get closer to your vacation and I can give you a few pointers.

If you can't find walleye, or get bored of trolling, there is a shoal right at Shermans Point where you should be able to pick off some largemouth bass. Anchor right on top of the shoal and ripjig with bucktail jigs. Anything that swims by will eat it!!!!!! 8)

Thanks guys I really appreciate the help.
I'm a huge bass fisherman so that's what I'll mainly be targeting
I'll also be trying to go after the famous BOQ walleyes, however, around here we have to use a straight up and down jig, so I'm
Not too experenced on casting or trollin for walleyes just yet.
