Quinte Fishing

Hi All

Was out at Huffs on Sat. Brother in Law and I. We brought the bike. Not a good idea. As others have reported lots of snow and slush.
Left Whitby about 5 did not have a line in the water until 935. 401 not great.
Fishing by 935. Started marking fish about 1015 no takers just looked around. 11 on the dot brother in law lands one about 10lbs. Nice picture then back it went.
5 minutes later the guy in the hut across from us starts yelling. the another 5 minutes or so we hear someone yelling fish on.
Packed up at 1 to get a motel.
Back on the ice at 3 marked several fish. went 0 for 3.
Brother in picks up 2 about 3 lb each. about 545 looked up the lake snow coming. By the time we got off the ice there had to be about 3 to 4" of snow had fell.

I was really glad I had just built a smitty sled. LOL tough pull with the deep snow and slush.
Did not go out Sunday because of the cold and wind. No hut just sitting on a bucket.
