Hey guys ,with this recent cold snap whats the average thickness? i know there is crazy snow insulating and it depends on how much moving water there is but it still has to be making ice. Just wondering if i will need an extension on the drill auger..Thanks

Ice is anywhere from 0"-24" thick. And BATMAN...never say never. I needed one last year near the end of the season!

I concur last season at the end out off point Anne I had 1" of shaft before motor was sitting on ice when punched through and today am on 18" black ice thickest seen this season not at point Anne though
