Sorry this report took so long to post but I have been busy catching up with outstsanding work since I spent the entire day fishing in Quinte.
Pete, consider yourself lucky. We fished by the ferry most of the day with no sucess. Trolled for hours and did not see anyone raise their net.
Ran into the Picton Harbour for the night time fish. We would have packed it in early but we heard someone shout they caught a nine pounder!! I guess it was Pete that caused us to keep fishing for another 2 hours.
To add insult to injury, someone caught a, what looked like 5 pounder, walleye from the dock. (Out of the slot limit I would imagine?)
It is rare that I am skunked but I will be back.
It sure was a nice day and evening on the water!!!!!
