Hey Fellas,Me and a couple of buds were on the bay in oct. but did`nt do too well.I figured we were too early.Anyhow,we were planning one last kick at the can this weekend. The posts seem to be hit or miss. We`re not looking to keep any fish, just want to catch a lunker. Is it worth the drive from Oshawa?Thanx.DanS

I would say it is worth the drive; to catch the biggest fish you have ever caught every time you pull one in. As long as you can get on to the trolling program you should do real good.Give me a call on the radio; channel 69 Fish Hound. Try mann's 20+ with in-line planer boards- off-shore tackle make the best boards by far.100-250 back just have to find the sweet spot-good luck

Thanks Fish Hound, last oct.we were using planers with deep diving stick baits.I was using power pro line and trolled for hours to no avail.Although we fished around the ferry, most fish were being landed at the mouth to lake ontario.I don`t have a radio so I can`t call you ,but thanks just the same.I just don`t want to drive out there if the fish hav`nt come in yet.

Hey DanS, I made the drive from Oshawa last thursday and got 4 walleye.
2@27inches and 2@29inches. Thats worth the drive for me. :D . I was using the same setup you described in your post and was further east from the ferry. Got 2 around the ferry the week before too.
