It's in the book, there is Fosters Fishing Centre at the Narrows, or head to Perfect Vue on Hay Bay.

It's a long run up the river to Napanee. IMHO.

PS You can always contact Mohawk and see what's going on.

I received a call from KWW on Monday...I had Mohawk as my pickup place for my hat and had to change.

They were "unable to secure a Deseronto location!" was told to me. I was given the closest options of Napanee Harbour, Perfect View but not Fosters to get my hat.

Anyone else get the call and have Fosters as an option?

I'm staying at MBTP for the weekend...too bad the Deseronto area doesn't have a weigh-in and that's all I'll say about that. :-(

Cheers

Just talked to Perfect Vue, they only have hats for the tickets they have to sell.

No weigh station at Mohawk, as mentioned above.

What a SNAFU.

The weigh stations are supposed to have extra hats with them and you get your hat then??????

I agree SD...

When I talked to the girl that called me from KWW, she said I could contact them if I decided that Napanee Harbour wasn't going to work; pretty hard to come up with a location when you don't expect it or know what others will be doing.

Again, the only options given were Trenton, Belleville, Napanee and Perfect View to arrange to have them for me to get. She even had to send me a new form that states "Napanee" for my pickup location. She also said they've "had trouble with getting the hats made..."

Hearing about Fosters; again not an option given nor did she know where PV was and explained to her that it was in Hay Bay...I've emailed them (KWW) now to see if this is an option to save me the run up the river as I'm sure I'll be the Narrows way to fish at some point.

Due to health reasons, this may be my Dad's last walleye weekend. I personally don't care about the hats but am sure he'll want one.

With this "snafu" as you've put it, it's no wonder MBTP pulled out if that's what's happened and suspect so.

So...increase in cost of tickets, you have to run around to get hats that are "included" in the fees, less weigh-in stations and no tickets available at most locations published as having them to save the $15, I was told by them due to the lateness of receiving hats which never ended up at convenient locations anyways?

WTH?!?

I've now received the following reply from KWW to my question of changing locations to get my hats but without a change in the form they've sent:

"Yes they will. The Picton Kiwanis maintain that weigh station and will have hats available there, too, on May 1."

Cheers

David,
Perfect view has it wrong. If they were at the meeting last week, (there were only three stations there), online purchasers have first right to the hats. If we run out of hats we tell the "walk in" purchasers that will will have hats for them prior to the derby and we will grab more for them ASAP. It may mean that they will have to come back and pick one up. We were all given extra hats so there shouldn't be a problem. Hope this helps.
