Looks like a Rudolph-the-Red-Nosed Raingear sorta weekend for the old get-together, west winds with a warming trend, 50km winds on Sunday.

Freeze our asses off on Friday night with alow of -8.

All in all, looks good.

Mux,
You beat me to it. I was just gonna post a weather report and you're already done it. I know a few of the other boards have had get togethers earlier this fall and had awful wind/weather. We have been lucky as every year its always been great (knock on wood) but alas it seems our run of nice get together weather has come to an end. I packed my stuff last night but better throw in the long johns (I should wash them they are still dirty from last year). Keeping it on an upbeat note I see the Picton forecast is calling for 30 South which wont be too bad east of the ferry. For sunday OUCH 50/west which again should not be too bad around Shermans/ Thompson /cement plant on the west side. See you there everyone and drive safe and take your time

Don't bother washing the long gitch, they're easier to find in the mornin' if they're standing where you left them.

Friday it is.

Well hopefully Friday will be the worst of it! I've been watching the weather religiously all week. You wouldn't belive how it changes every few hours let alone, day to day.

I'll wait and see what it actually is come Friday, when I'm there :!:

Hey guys,

good point about the weather warning (winds) this weekend. It seems that the tireless promotion of walleye fishing in the BOQ by many has increased the number of incompetent boaters this fall season. With that I am seeing a lot of boats fishing in very unsafe weather conditions. I have seen 10 and 12 foot aluminum boats packed to the rim with people and equipment attempting to fish in 40 km/h winds. I hope they have the number for the coast guard programmed into their cell phones.

We'll get what we get and can't do much about it.

The weather passing thru the Kingston Area right now is rainy and windy, BUT, warm - plus 3.

If it stays on the plus side for the whole weekend, that's a bonus, the WIND -well that's something else that we'll have to contend with.

C everyone Friday.
