Moth balls in the back of the boat have helped. An old hockey stick helps too!

I live at the mouth of Northport bay and see one or two almost daily, luckily not in my boat . Just moved one along this morning. It seems that the areas on my shoreline where the mussels have washed up stay clean of the snakes? Maybe try something around your boat that is rough? Lots of mussels around. Better to crunch a few mussels than a snake. I have my 16 foot aluminum just out of the water on a shoreline ramp and the buggers like to get around that as well. Good luck.
