Not sure to what point it "Too Obvious" got before it was locked and removed.
Personally, I think it was important. Sad that it was locked.
The sharing of such events can make all anglers more aware of just what is going on around us.
Failure to spread the word and encourage closer examination only allows the obvious to become less obvious.

Many so called anglers/conservationists/followers of the rules/etc. are often not the angels they profess to be.
Participation here/other boards/worthy functions/etc. doesn't necessarily make them who they say they are!

I completely agree that everyone should be paying attention to what's going on around us out there. If anyone sees natural resources violations then ' spread the word' with the MNR. Here's the link with more information and the number to call. Stick the number in your cell phone so you'll have it on hand should you ever need it http://www.ontario.ca/environment-and-energy/how-report-natural-resource-violation-tips-mnr

Many fishermen, particularly novices, are completely unaware of specific tactics for specific species. Most see it as just fishing.
Healthy discussions on what should or shouldn't be happening at certain times of the year can and will raise awareness.
Thus enhancing the effectiveness of the tips line.

the Bass champs Tourny the first fish we caught was an 8 lb pike on a rage tail craw on a pivot head the second was a 4.5 lb walleye flippin a beaver tail and the third fish was a 6 lb channel cat on a sanko so thats a mixed bag all on bass gear so i wouldnt jump to " hes bass fishing for sure" when you really dont know
