Hey everyone,
First, I'm a social drinker with a fishing problem.....:)

Second I'll be renting a cottage 5 kms east of Picton at the end of August with my family and I'm trying to make a. fishing addict of my 18 year old son. Last year we spent 10 days on Loughborough and had a blast with 10-15 quality fish in the boat everyday. The problem is, I know absolutely nothing about the bay at all.

I have looked at the sat images from google and there seems to be quite a distinct drop off paralell to the south (edit: easterly my map was turned so it looked like the south shore) shore east of Picton that might be promising to troll, but i was also wondering if that island that runs beside the point about 8 kms further to the northeast is as promising as it looks. I see what looks to be a nice rocky shoal off the southern end of it....

Any help would be appreciated..

Bryn
