They walleye that run the river usually do so in November after the water turns over and we have had a good few nights of minus temperatures. Most know a handfull of bucktail jigs and some minnows is a staple there. That said, they ran very good 2 seasons ago in the river and last season the run was a bust. Nearly nothing caught in the river. I dont know why its changes so wildly from year to year. Is it baitfish, temperture or maybe water quality??? Its not a trophy fishery but good for numbers and meat eaters
