Sunday the wind was down and so hooked up the boat and headed to waupoos. Arrived to find all the docks pulled and even the tires were pulled. Headed back out to where we had been fishing last time and found the fish had moved on. Still managed to get over a dozen with a nice mix of size with the biggest at 5.4 The water temp was 45-46 and the fish had actually moved up shallower. Cant believe how clear the water is now. I could see my tube on bottom in 35 ft water and wasnt getting bit unless the tube was back and away from the boat. That will probably be it for bass and hopefully the eye bite starts to heat up soon.

Hey thanks for the report Dan, That's something else to be able to see your tube in 35ft of water, late fall smallies is something I've never done but being from Amherst Island, I likely should give it a whirl sometime, I wouldn't really know where to start though, I know how to drag a tube and fish a drop shot, but locating the fish this time of year. Maybe out of the west point of Nut Island? or Big Bar Shoal?

Basically any fast tapering structures. Catching a few on the flats but more on the steep drop offs

Danm

Think we saw you on Sunday. We had a decent day as well. Our biggest was 6.1 right around the time we were near each other.
