We put in at Finkles ramp on Tuesday and spent the day around the gap and down to the Batcave but only picked up one Walleye (10 lbs) which was to big to keep. We had been out on the 11th as well and took another brute (11lbs). I'm gonna starve to death at this rate.
We sure are seeing the baitfish on the sonar, waves of them, sometimes they block the sonar from seeing bottom.
Got a few Sheepshead as well, one so big it almost broke the net. Fun to catch but not to sure about eatable.
Anyone know about the Silver Bass, we get the odd one but are not sure about keeping them.
Attached a few pictures

I've eaten silver bass, they were fine. Much better than a 10lb walleye

Which is this. I've been getting a bunch of these. I've been calling them silver or white bass. Getting them in the 14-16in range.

No electric needed. It's a hobie outback with a mirage petal drive,so hands free,no paddling. It's awesome. Super stable and I can troll 1-2.5mph all day long even in the wind with little effort. The perfect Bay of Quinte fishing machine for one angler.
