In late fall when the bite is poor for eyes does anyone ever venture out to Amherst Island. Is there any walleye action this time of year out that way. We will be out on the water next week Wed, Thurs Friday. Just figures if the bite is non-existant might venture out that way for a few hours.

Yes people do target eyes that far out as well. I was hoping to get out to try them tomorrow if time permits

earlier in the season (late oct) we fished out in the gap and managed a few males by trolling reef runners across the bottom 20 - 30 ft. Hasn't been good the last few weeks, but we noticed the commercial fish boats are setting nets out there so there must be something
