first time to Bay of Quinte

Thinking of making our first trip to fish Bay of Quinte
when is the best time for a weeks fishing trip and can anyone suggest a good place to rent a 2 bedroom cottage that is close to good fishing

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try Baycrest Lodge and Marina on Big Bay....we stay there in the winter but I heard it was a good place to stay in the summer as well.

Summer walleye fishing in the Bay isn't as good as fall or winter but you should catch some fish

Picton Harbour Inn. Not cottages but nice rooms on Picton harbour.

I know lots of guys who fish the trent river and out towards bakers island during the summer. Lots of eaters. No cottages though you would have to rent a hotel. Good luck and good fishing!
