I got out on the hardwater the last 2 days. There is just something amazing about sitting down with cold hands in one spot waiting for something to happen. I ended up catching a decent perch on day one when the tipup wasn't working for the pike and today i was specifically targeting perch with a micro jig and then i caught my first pike of the hardwater season. Great start to 2016.
