Uncle and I hit the ice at 3:45 Friday afternoon. Marked a couple fish and lost one around 4. Jigged for a while and all of a sudden at 4:30 it was a frenzy of fish. All great eaters and one just over 7lbs. We limited out before 5 and went home.

Today with the rain we pushed the boat out on the ice for safer measures cause of all the rain. Except this time uncle and my dad was with me. Very similar times getting out there tonight except instead of 4:30 bite they decided they would start at 4:50. And boy did they come on again. 3 man limit and threw some smaller fish back tonight in less than 20 minutes it was the craziest thing I have had happen to me on the bay in a long time. We fished in 24' of water. And we all had different hooks on so that wasn't really an difference maker but they came on pimple macho minnow and a do-jigger.

Now time to let this cold air come in and tighten the water back up
