In no way am i saying there is safe ice though just cause there is huts out there i honestky would not call potters completeky safe even i was with peter that owns the huts the other day..he was saying how there was a solid four inches everywhwre while we were out there..i told him three ft from where my hut was was well under two inches but i was sitting on four.. I went to grab my spud to give it a wack and i tapped it on ice to get a grip be fore i took a wack and ended up dropping my spud almost looseing it as it went right through... The look.ok his face was priceless.. He went from oh there is great ice to okay few bad apots to watch for lol..and he really seems to know the ice well..i guess most hut operators do though.. Sorry for the ramble just like to make myself clear on this stuff and not have u make any decisions off of info ive heard about mohawn or anything potters is all i onow and just gave ya low down friend..hapoy new years and gd fishing..stay on top the hard atuff friend

Thanks for the report. This is the kind of report I was looking for. Someone who has actually been there and has seen it with their own eyes. Thanks again!!
