Bakers Island

We always fish out off bakers island, about half way across the bay between bakers and the south side. Has anyone been in that area trying there luck. There usually isn't hardly any current there so i'm wondering if there is more ice than potters. Hope to try it on the weekend. respond if you have any info. Thanks

a buddy walked out from the south side on Saturday towards the green can...spudded his way out and turned back, said he didn't like it...and coming from him I would take his advice seriously

Thanks for the info. Hope to get out soon but I guess until then its the Boathouse Restaurant.

Brothers inlaws live on the bay between Bay Marine and Bakers on the north side. They are planning on heading out Sat afternoon and will report ice conditions to me. Will let you know...I live in Marysville and like to drive to go out from there as it is usually safe ice and good fishing.

We are also heading out Saturday afternoon. My buddies neighbor is heading out in the morning so he will check in with him to get thickness. Good Luck
