Anyone catch anything surprising this fall trolling other then eyes and grunts?
With the changing waters I was curious to see if anyone got into any trout or muskies.

Bulldog,
Good question, I was wondering the same thing myself especially with the musky. Apparently Aldophus long reach used to be known as a musky fishery decades ago. Even up to the early 90's I knew a couple of guys who would target them in the late fall. The guy sold his boat and I havent talked to him in years. I do know a few years back one of the residents in that area had a 50lb musky wash up on their bank and they called the MNR who came and got it. Other than that havent heard much. I would of thought with all the boats working that area someone would of came up with a musky or 2.

Only hearsay, but I did hear some Browns were coming out near the Bath plant.

Can anyone else confirm this?

There is rainbows that are caught sometimes and I have seen salmon before at the picton ramp off the dock at night and during the day. I did have a good musky hit me near thompsons when I was fishing for largemouth and it was probably pushing mid twenties and I got a real good look at her.
