Good morning all. I have yet to get out this year due to the poor weather we have been having- would love to have had a winter like last year. The last few days here in Peterborough have been pretty cold, and snow a couple of them. With that, I am hoping to get out in the morning to Potters. Just wonder if anyone has been out in the last day and what the conditions are like. Would hate to make the drive only to turn around. Any advice or comments are much appreciated. And, if anyone it thinking of going there as well, company is always welcome.

I was out this morning and ice wasn't good. Didn't have the spud go through but also didn't find more then 3-4 inches of ice. I was out between potters and the bridge out of my friends yard and will be waiting a week before headed back out.

Thanks for the update. That's what I needed to hear. Think I may stay closer to home and target perch or crappie. Might wait a while before making the trek down. Long range forecast, the long weekend in February might be better.

Cheers.

Not overly familiar with Jack's lake and like to stay with places I know unless in the company of someone who is familiar with the lake. Thanks for the advice.
