Quinte Fishing

Is it possible to get a feed back on what the ice condition are like currently Are business taking the huts off. Are huts on the ice right now. ?

If you read the posts from the last couple weeks, you will see that some of the guides and hut operators have posted what they are doing. Sounds like huts are off the ice and some of the guides have shut down till further notice. I can't help you with ice conditions, but I would assume they are not very good.

It has a bend in it!!!

Took a drive today around noon. I spotted at least half a dozen spots with open water on
Long Reach. Most around Huffs. Big open spot from the cables across to Green Pt. Stopped and checked the ice at Quick Short Rd. I would definitely not to try the ice there.

By the looks of the long range doesn't look good. 40 years on the ice on Quinte and I have seen late ice, early ice but nothing like this winter. Should start to lock back up around the 13th unless they change that again.
