With the launches still open to access Lake Ontario, I'm still out there in my 14' Lund trolling for lake trout, pike and walleye in February!!

Notice the nose is all pushed in from eating gobys from the rocks.

Smashing lake trout on the Storm Giant Flatstick!

Double header pike!

Another nice northern!

Lake trout and northern double header and netted in the same net!

Releasing one of the northerns.

Releasing one of the lake trout. Could see bottom in 40' of water!

Underwater shot of the Storm Giant Flatstick.

Towards the day we decided to target walleye and we found one before dark.

Another shot of the walleye!

Hey there,

Was that your red truck with the LUND decal on the back window at the ramp yesterday?

First off, congratulations on some very successful outings.

You remind me a lot of myself 10 years ago.....Keep up the hard work (and yes, I know there is some work involved in catching those fish) :)

Be careful out there. Things can turn quickly out there....especially when it comes to floating/shove ice blocking exit points. However, I'm very sure you take all the necessary precautions.

Enjoy these days....they are fun!

Can't wait for your next report!

Thanks a million. I'm quite aware of the ice and wind out there. I'm very cautious especially being in a 14' tin can haha you're not kidding when you say it can turn quick!
