I've had no luck booking an ice fishing charter to date. We're looking to do something next Saturday (Feb 20th). Can anyone local please advise what's going on with local charters/ice fishing hut rentals? Is there looking like any fishing available next weekend?

This snow will cause a lot of problems with the ice. There will be significant run off from the creeks and rivers causing high current. Then the snow on the ice will insulate and make it easier for ice degradation below.

Even if no ice is lost it will be very hard to see areas of weak ice or where people have or have not walked.

Hope you can get out but above that hope whomever takes you is reputable and safe in their guidance.
