Nice fish - a PB is always a GOOD thing.

That is one odd site. Is this an official site? Just the time to get a record posted is strange. BATMAN

Batman, you aren't kidding.

Is that site real? I mean they show out of season catches, congratulating the angler?

ya that site is a joke if you want a good laugh go to the Ontario largemouth bass page and see some pics of what they are claiming to be 7-8lb bass. Doesnt appear to be a lot of scrutiny applied to the submission. (not talking about the Als crappie it looks like it is a legit monster)

I saw the fish the next day...........trust me it is legit, but there will always be people that will rain on a parade

I don't think anyone here is raining on his parade. His fish looks legit. Its that page I know the ontario record for drum is 21.53 and came from Quinte and that page shows 20.6 from french river. There are some listings below the record in some of the categories that don't seem very accurate.. Such as smallmouth bass in 2014, yellow perch and several others.

fishnmachine, I believe your buddies fish is 100% legit.

Just the site itself is a joke.

There is a photo of an out of season smallie, caught in long point bay, congratulating the angler on a fine (out of season) catch.

No legitimate site would do that!!!

Dirt, Nice crappie. Al's crappie almost looks like a black crappie. His entry is under white crappie. There are white crappie are in Ontario but are more commonly caught in the southern states. As a species the white is much larger and a 15 in her is common. A 15" black crappie is something to brag about. BATMAN
