Yeah saw that too. Christie almost went wire to wire but Evers goes out and finds 30 lbs when almost the entire field struggled to average 15 lbs. Good on him and in front of a home town crowd. Nice. Wasn't sure I heard right but the weight in site was 90 miles down the highway from the boat launch?? Did I misunderstand?

I watched all 3 days weigh-ins, and I thought I heard the same thing a few times Dan. I just shrugged it off thinking I didn't understand what was going on. Doesn't make a lot of sense if that's the case.

Just Google mapped it. Morning blast off was from Grove, OK and the weigh in site was in Tulsa, OK which is 1.5 hr drive between the 2. Thats like fishing the tournament here on the bay then driving to Toronto for the weigh in. Crazy

Yeah I heard Alton Jones mention that after day one, thought it was crazy..... But good on the anglers, watching the weigh ins I was surprised at how lively a lot of the bass were.

100% of those fish were returned to Grand Lake alive. Tulsa was an amazing host.

If you've never been to a Classic it's tough to imagine.

Morning blastoff with thousands on shore...
