the walleyes are still on the bite myself i have been fish what Icall dead water areas with no current .I useing spoons like hopkins and crippled hering and pimples catching alot of smaller fish in the dead water but it is safe way to go about it and witha little help with the vex .check with your local bait shops about ice condations this week due to all the mild weather my self Im staying away any areas with lots of water flow like the bridges and narrows .remember respect the ice and it well respect you .

Is there any ice left after that warm weather and rain? We are making a trip there next week.
