Some last second plans and ended up meeting an old friend from way back and heading out of Wellington for some lakers. First set up was two riggers and two leadcore with 4 colours out. Everything was going with a variety of spoons. Took a break and went at it this time changed out the leadcore for steel line with #0 dipsys to get a better feel of them. We ended with 3 doubles, one triple and lost track around 20 altogether with all between 8 and 20 lbs. Two came back for the smoker. It was great to have a day like that and catch up on the last 18 years together.
Nothing like a good fishing trip to bring friends back together.
