I took out a couple of guys for some bassin. One of them is just getting started with fishing and you could tell he was over the top thrilled to go. We started out with some top water buzzbaits and a senko for follow ups on missed hits on the buzzbaits. Turned out to be a lot of fun since the fish were on a tear and we had multiple double and triple headers. Nothing really big, about up to 3 lbs. The guy just getting into fishing had this permanent grin on his face the whole time. The fish were very shallow cruising along rocky shorelines in 1-3 ft.
Then this morning I had my son with me and we went back to back to back double headers on buzzbaits. Found one fish just about 4 lbs. Great time with lots of fish.

Geez, nothing wrong with those sizes, Dan. Sounded like a great day.

Way to go Dan. The bass have been on fire in my neck of the bay as well. Unfortunately can't get much on moving baits but also getting some line tingers (ting ting) on plastics. One day fishing under 3 feet and next day fish weed lines. Apparently the walleye are on the weed lines as other locals r catching their limits of decent fish even the last few days with the non walleye conditions. Good luck all!
