Salmon fishing

Was wondering if anyone has been out in Lake Ontario and tried salmon fishing? I was thinking on maybe trying Wednesday morning thought I might try out of Wellington any suggestions would be great.

Salmon fishing is really starting to pick up out at Wellington with good numbers and size. Head out to the Bonnet....green spoons seem to be the ticket.

Was out this morning. Fished Palen Bank and in front of the Bonnet. 27lber at palen in 140fow with rigger down 82 feet. Lost two others there. Trolled to the Bonnet and nothing untill we hit 138fow. One shaker, one 9lber and two knock offs. Was a great morning. Radio chatter with other success.

Anywhere near Kingston to shore fish for big kings? Don't have a boat in Kingston but I'm here during the week.
