Speck,
Wish I could help you with that area but I havent been out. I suspect with the weather alot have not been out that way yet. On my way in to and from work I drive by Potters creek and see a few out on the ice fishing. I hear they have been getting them right across near the green marker. However, I strongly suggest you check the ice as you go.

Thanks Dan & Tdoug for your Quick replies to my questions about ice conditions as safety is of the upmost importance when it comes to enjoying "OUR" favorite winter pastime as well as saving me a wasted trip from the GTA if conditions are not favourable. Pt Anne is a favourite spot of mine as I caught 30 some walleye there last year in only 5 trips. Most of them were in the slot which is why "I" voted to remove the slot size.It has been my experience (over many years of the slot size within the Lake Trout fisheries) that protecting the smaller fish(below 18" for walleye & 14" for trout) would have a greater Positive impact.Of course this is only one mans opinion.
T Doug ,Hope to meet you on the ice this year as we both seem to spend a lot of time at this spot. I Have a home built hut made from chipboard ends & a Brown tarp.
P.S .Also look for the guy with the huge Black tarp on the ice on a sunny day.

Further updates would be greatly appreciated

Thanks again to all
