I'VE BEEN WATCHING THIS BOARD FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW. THERE IS ONE THING THAT I HAVE NOTICED. THERE ARE A BUNCH OF SPORTSMEN THAT ARE DEDICATED, PASSIONATE, AND CONSERVATIONISTS WHEN IT COMES TO THE BOQ. I MYSELF LIVE ON A LAKE , NORTH OF SYRACUSE N.Y.(ONEIDA LAKE) I HAVE BEEN TO THE BOQ ONLY ONCE. THAT WAS LAST FEBRUARY AND WILL BE UP THERE AGAIN THIS FEBRUARY. WHAT A GREAT FISHERY YOU HAVE. SOME PEOPLE TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED. I NEVER DO WHEN IT COMES TO MOTHER NATURE AND HOW HUMANS CAN RUIN IT. I FISH FOR ENJOYMENT. I KEEP MAYBE 12 WALLYES A YEAR FROM MY LAKE. THE REST ARE RETURNED FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO ENJOY. MY TRIPS TO THE BOQ ARE FOR REASON AND YOU HAVE THAT, A TROPHY THROUGH THE ICE. I WILL NEVER STOP COMING, EVEN IF THAT HAPPENS. HOPE TO SEE YA IN FEB. I TIP MY HAT TO YOU GENTLEMEN OF FISH !!!!!!!

THANKS FOR THE GREAT INFO OVER THE PAST YEAR THAT HAS BEEN POSTED. RICK FROM N.Y.

P.S. THERE IS A NEW GANDER MTN. THAT JUST OPENED 5 MINUTES FROM ONEIDA LAKE. WERE STAYING AT PERFECT VIEW, I THINK(I DIDNT MAKE THE RESERVATIONS.

Good luck on your trip. If you're staying at perfect vue you are near alot of good areas. Shermans pt. Thompsons pt as well as the long reach area and the deseronto bridge. Let us all know how you make out. Welcome to the board.
