Hey guys and gals. I will be doing a free webinar on Sept 29 2016 at 9 pm. It is a webinar all about the Quinte fall walleye migration. When, Where and How to fish the Quinte fall walleye. I certainly don't know it all and there is lots left for me to learn, but I am happy to pass on the information I have. I won't be giving away all my best lures and spots but I'm happy to provide a little bit about the the ecology of Quinte walleye that will give you a huge leg up in fishing for the giant fall walleye of Quinte. The webinar will be about 45 minutes long and I will take as many questions as I can at the end. Looking forward to seeing some names from the board on the sign up list.

Scott

Hi Scott my name is Paul, this is probably a stupid question but I'm on afternoons next week and am unable to watch your webinar. I was wondering if you record it and put it on YouTube at all. I'm really interested in it , I actually missed your last walleye one. The wife and I just bought a trailer in Mohawk bay park in mid June and love going there and love fishing. I'm just not very good lol

115opti, Yes the webinar is recorded and then uploaded to YouTube. I'll post a link when I have it.

Thanks it was really helpful, I've never fished here in the fall before. I forgot to ask how important light conditions and time of day are for this fishery?

Scott - Good job explaining the biology of the fish, we hardly ever think about that, cept looking for balls of bait.

I always thought the Gizzard Shad in Picton harbour in the fall were there to be used as food for walleyes, I am glad you cleared that up.

Enjoyed the seminar, always things to learn.

Cheers

Hey Scott, any word on when you might post the link for those of us that were unable to watch it live? I am very interested in the part S.D. commented on about gizzard shad in the fall? In the late spring I have caught plenty of eyes filled with threadfins up near the cement plant.
By the way, as of last weekend they were not yet in Picton Bay where I fish, no walleyes either  Maybe this weekend or next if the water temp drops?

There was an issue with the recording and I have to basically present it again so it can be recorded again. I will get to it but swamped right now with getting the campground out to bed before November. I'll post it when it gets uploaded. Sorry for the delay.
