Quinte Fishing

I am new to the area and the closest access to the ice from me is the north shore of Hay Bay.
I was wondering if anyone icefishes there...I didn't see any huts and only saw a couple of people fishing further down near Sherman Point.
I also went to the Deseronto bridge and noticed quite a bit of open water on the south? side.

Anyone wanna share some of their secrets?

I haven't caught a walleye in 2 years !!

I'm sure when the ice gets better and safer you'll see huts and people fishing on Hay Bay.

Many people fish from the south shore launch ramp (west of the Old Church) and many people fish from the SHermans Pt Launch ramp.

Others travel further on the south shore and head over towards Thompsons Pt and fish out there.

From the reports the past few years there appear to be fewer fish caught in some of these areas. A popular place is down the Huff Road to the ice and striaght out there.

Lots of luck - I hope to lost my hard-water virginity this year also.
