It's finally time again to chase the big girls this fall and I'd like to talk lures we all have a box full we all have our favorites and go to choices but I Wana really talk about what the fish wanted on that day you were out !! everyday is different out ther depth color size etc
So let's go ! Next week I ll be out trolling alot and will talk about what was hot that day chime in and stay tuned

With the hula poppers, do you troll at a constant speed or do you put it in neural then in gear? Stop and go motion. Interesting. Lol

Usually about 400 ft because my coppers are out 600

Umbrella rigs trolled in the prop wash are killer this time of year too.

I haven't been out this year so can't say what's working or not but for sure the 800 reef in anything white pearl always is in the spread and start with it up high and work it down into the water column.

My personal faves. Power Dive Minnow -purple and black

Tail dancer- anything with purple on it

Manns Stretch 20- Dr Death

Reef Runner- white....clear.......perch

You will find that experimentation with depth in a systematic manner will get more results that color.

Start with 4 rods out at 30 back 40 back 50 back 60 back. Try that for 30 minutes and then 70 back 80 back 90 back 100 back and so on. Trolling is math !!!
