It was a 20 minute run from Deseronto to just past the big Esroc Cement plant north end of Picton bay, I had read the warning regarding commercial nets being exactly where I had planned on fishing, when I started the turn towards the ferry starting marking lots of bait and noticed two charter boats working the area, however after 3 hours of washing a few lures and discovering that my 25 year old Willey's Side Planer worked better than my brand new Walleye Boards, not sure what the issue was but they kept bucking around like a rodeo bull?
Didn't see any nets come out so headed back the Sherman"s point just as the wind died, switched to worm harness and BB and exersized a couple of drum and feed the perch. Still great day on the water
