It sucks getting old and forgetful, since I don,t have a nice boat anymore,my fishing is done from shore, the perch fishing in the last two weeks from the docks in Deseronto has been unbelievable, some 10 to 16 inchers to be had, anyways, yesterday I thought I would go down to the Glenora Ferry dock on the north side where there is some good fishing to be had at certain times, started out trying for perch, lots of little dinks and the odd 7 incher, decided to get my one and only baitcasting outfit out and tie on a nice Rapala T.D.11 and take a few casts, nothing, went back to the perch,I leaned my baitcaster up against the Flagpole at the end of the wall where I had been standing, went back to the perch for about another half hour, have about 7 little guys in the pail and the wind was still pretty cool, decided that was enough, dumped them back in,grabed my rod and reel and pail, notice I SAID ROD & REEL,not RODS & REELS???!!!!,DDAAHH!!!,put them in the vanand proceeded home, went out this morning, and went to grab the baitcaster and at that moment realized where I had left it,it had been my favorite rod and reel for many years, there was about ten boat trailers in the parking lot when I left,it was sitting right there when anyone came in,right near the dock by the launch, just wondering if any good samaratin might have picked it up????Thanks Again,The Rocket(OLD MAN)613-922-(BASS)2277

Oh man I hope someone has it for you. I saw it there and assumed whoever owned it was using the bathroom or somewhere near by. That was at 330pm yesterday. I wish I would have grabbed it now instead of leaving it.

Fingers crossed for you Rocket

Hey there Bigmac, thanks for your reply this morning, after you saying that you had seen it there yesterday,I decided to go for a drive down to Glenora ferry and go for a ride across to the north side, about halfway across I got my binoculars out,and as I got closer,I could see my rod and reel leaning against the flagpole where I had left it since Sunday morning at 11am,I just couldn,t believe it,I let out a hoop and holler, everyone must have thought I was crazy, thanks again for the heads up,Happy Fisherman once more,I guess thats one for the Fishin Story Books!!!!
