Hi everyone - I'm planning on my second fall trip next week and was wondering if anyone else was also planning on fishing on these dates and would be interested in talking about results/exchanging ideas. I can be reached on VHF - call Erie-Eyes. We are booked @ Picton Harbour Inn so will be launching from the Picton ramp around 8:30 am Tuesday morning. Weather so far is looking good.

Good fishing everyone & be safe.

We just got back from spending the last three days there. Caught one Saturday 5.6 lbs and one 6.7 lbs today just west of Keith's Shoal east of the ferry. We were trolling around 2mph both were caught about 40' using pink and purple reef runners. Wind was an issue over all three days. Speaking to others, they didn't seem to do well either.

I'm trying to make it there this week but having a problem to find a partner to come in from Mississauga with me. My wife and I may come Thursday and Friday. Any update or report would be appreciated.

The WalleyeWon Crew are making our fall trek from Muskoka tomorrow til Sunday, 4 guys washing baits in a Black/Silver Lund Crossover with Grey top. Staying at Merland Park.
Will try and get some results posted hopefully with pictures. Forecast with mid teen temps, low winds and sunshine has me somewhat
confused!

This trip turned out to be one of my best ever – my cousin Ed and his son Mark joined me and over the 3 days we boated 6 walleye and 3 sheephead with one walleye @ 19 ¾ inches and all the rest ranging from 26 ½ to 29 ½ inches. The largest weighed 11 pounds. Both Ed and Mark ended up with new personal bests, with Mark getting his on Wednesday which was his birthday. All fish were caught in the Shermans/Thompson’s point area and all were released to grow bigger for next year.

Erie-Eyes (Ed) those are the times that keep us all coming back. Good for you guys...wishing we spent some time over there. We didn't do so well, Thursday aft we concentrated around the Plant, Friday from Prinyer's Cove in with something very large breaking us clean in front of the lighthouse...if anyone catches it, it'll have what's left of a purple reef runner hanging from it's lip. Were thinking the suspect to be a Muskie? The board peeled back and completely disappeared, before popping back up several seconds later.
Saturday was spent around the white can east of the ferry as we were marking lots and very large pods of bait fish and temps around 48 as opposed to 52-53.
We did manage a couple of nice eater's (already filleted) from Sobey's Shoal for our last night fish fry!
Contributions to the local economy happily given..."this time"!!

Be safe all...
Steve
