Day was perfect, arrived in Picton ready to launch at 7am. Water was flawless. Took off out into the Aldolphus Reach area after talking with a few guys at the launch who were awesome and helpful. Drove around looking for some hooks and the screen lit up! Never seen hooks like that ever, they were deep though, wish i had brought my downriggers, oh well, thats in the past now, i've already been dealt my wippings for that. lol! Anyways we ended up hooking into a few and i landed my all time best at just over 8lbs. Landing those few fish and seeing the hooks all over the screen all day was enough excitement and will have me coming back again and again, now that i know their truly are Walleye in the BOQ, lol! Thanks for the great post!!!
If you bring your riggers next time, just remember, you'll end up keeping anything caught that deep....looks to me like you did pretty well without them!
