Getting excited for the hard water season! We have a trip booked into January and am just wondering if anyone has any up to date water temps or a place where we can find them. Already getting the itch and can't wait to get out there!

That's great, thanks for the update. Seems that the temps are coming down slowly but surely, lots of negative temps day and night in the forecast. Really hoping that sticks and we get some calm, very cool days and nights to get a good freeze going

My nephews were skating on about 2.5 inches in a cove on Wellers bay when we had that last cold spell. Only in about a foot and a half of water but there was a skim going out about 300 yards. It won't take long....

The Bay has a thin layer this morning here in front of my place in North Port. looks like its frozen to North port shoal. My crankbait keeps hitting and sliding across the top. Time to think perch and walleyes vertically. Good luck this season and be safe.

Was going to confirm the same thing, ice ice baby as far as the eye could see from the top of Skyway bridge . My buddy tells me the same thing over at West Lake. Hoping we get a good base before the snow hits tomorrow afternoon....

Deseronto iced over, looks a long way out, just a few gaps between town and Foresters

Snow needs to stay away! Put 12" on that and it'll be a long way out making more ice anytime soon
