Any interest in another Battle of the Bay?

If so I think we should get a small group together this time and see what we can come up with . In the past we raised fair bit for the Belleville Cops and Kids Program. Below is a suggestion of what we would need to start out with.
We need the following;
Volunteers; for Set up and Tear Down, Selling Tickets, Garbage, weigh Station, Cooking.
Volunteers can fish or help out where needed during the day.
Large tent for preparing food if possible
BBQ’s or large heat sources for reheating food,
Food, type and quantity, refreshments as well.
Utensils and plates
Garbage; cans and disposal
Weight station and volunteer, one scale for all fish
Registration; $20 donation, 2 volunteers to handle tickets and cash
Extra draw tickets for Special draws (hopefully Charters and such) volunteer to sell tickets
Everyone to bring something for the prize table if possible (this way almost everyone goes home with something, see if your boss can donate an item for the table)
Volunteers to set up Fishing Area.
Transportation to and from parking lot for equipment and anyone that needs assistance.
The last Battle we had close to 50 people on the ice and a great time was had by all. This is a good chance for Board members to meet up and put a face to a name as well as help out a great cause.

Just putting this out there to see if there is any interest as well as anyone willing to help organise as well.
Thanks
Tim

Perfect vue sounds good. I'm in and will help out where ever needed. Belleville police aka Pat Comeau does a great job with the kids fishing program and well worth supporting. What about a date?

I'm interested if everything works out. A date would be good to know soon for out of town guys needing to book time off work, hotels etc... Perfect Vue sounds good, but is there parking available nearby if a lot of people attend?

Perfect Vue would be great, just not sure if they have enough parking if we get a crowd.
As well does anyone know when all the local fishing derbies are ? Please list if you can.....
Any idea who has the plaque ?
Dates Available:
Feb 11 or 12 (in the past it was generally around here)
Jan 21 or 22

Tylercurt my man. Count me in !!

Set up, take down, I'll come up with some prizes, and a contribution to help out with other needs.

Larry whazhisname is a good ticket hawker, if he's up to the task . There are some first rate chowder cookers, bean makers and chilli chefs I know of too (ask me for names). I don't need to fish. Just let me soak up some of the joy from the other Quinte fishers.

PS. Ladies appreciate proximity to facilities, as do gents with IBS.

Set a date and they will come.

It was a trophy that i donated and i believe that Dan Elliott might know who has it now , There are cabins at perfect vue call and ask June about pricing , The nice thing is the set up area would be closer to shore and outhouses , Im sure that there would be ample parking at the campground and along the road :D

No worries about the trophy it's safe and sound. I will check with Stacey on the date of his tournament.
