Hi,

I'm planning a fishing trip on BoQ on the week-end of february 11. Never been there before. So I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on where to start. Trenton area, Belleville area, Deseronto..I know it will depend on ice condition....I only have this week-end so I would like to maximize my fishing time. Looking for walleye.

Thanks a lot.

Everyone is looking for eyes, that is why we fish the BoQ! It's hard to say what ice will be like at that time, so the best advice would be to keep your eyes on the board and follow the posts. The fish move around a lot and of course what area works one day, will not necessarily be producing the next day. Big Bay is good spot, as well as Fosters- but there again, and as you mentioned, it really does depend on ice conditions. Check under the 'tips' section for a map of access locations- Tylercurt put some great work into it and it should help to point you in the right direction. Big Bay, Long Reach (Huffs and Shermans), Hay Bay are all good spots- but will take a little homework. Best of luck. :)
