Quinte Fishing

Hi All

Was out at Wagers yesterday.
We were on the ice about 12. Only 2 portable huts our there then and one other car in the parking lot.
Checked out the new entrance to the lake.
Walked out to a silver shack. Looks like it has been there for a while.
By 2 there had to be 25 to 30 guys out.
Just about 10 inches of ice where we were.
Caught 12 jumbos and a bunch of small ones.
Come 5 my brother in law get an eye about 12 inches. About 30 seconds later I get a solid hit.
Get it up to below the hole and it gets off. Nice luck.
All fish caught on blue white and silver buck shot.

Headed to Aikins Rd this morning. About 3 inches of ice. Wow.
Lots of guys out.
Fished 730 to 930. Freezing rain.
Got 3 more perch and a nice 3lbs eye.
Funny come 9 most guys left just like clock work.
Will be back next week.

We fished Wagers yesterday afternoon one eye was caught between 3 of us. We did speak to a guy who stated he got one that weighed 12.5lbs.

Was at Aikins Saturday 4 inches of ice southeast in15 fow. 5 -6 pds. I didnt think that ice would last with that current.
