Checked out Sherman's ramp and still not frozen close to shore. Hay Bay is covered over now, but there were lots of open spots. It'll take a few days to tighten up enough to be safe. The mouth of Hay Bay is still open.

Checked Huff's. Still open water both sides of the ramp. The rest is a skim of new ice and it'll be a while before it's safe.

The guy that has the field for parking has horses in there now. Hopefully the field will be available for parking once the ice is hard.

Two boats launched from Finkles this afternoon. Minus 7 with a stiff north wind. No thanks.

Take another look... everything's changing +1 tomorrow and another short warm up with rain next week +4 and +5. another report says +3 and +5, by the time it comes it will most likely say +10 and +12, hopefully not. Nights ore still cold but not the typical -20 for February. Wheres our great Canadian winter gone?

its changed again. Back down to a high of 0 next week. Keep praying for that cold weather and get some duct tape for those who are asking for warm and wind. lol.

Went up and fished shermans for a little while tonight. One perch. Was 120 yards out or better 2 1/2 3" of ice. As always the boat launch is worst spot. There was 5 others out there
