Pike weren't doing much but the smallies were (rather some gators)
Any advise for get some pike on the ice

Try using bigger bait. Buy whole frozen sardines from the grocery store. Put one treble in the back and one in the nose. Make sure they dangle level. Hit them as soon as they grab the bait.

I don't know the lake but hope this helps a bit. I wise angler turned me in to the concept of finding sandy bottoms close to weedlines for pike and it had paid serious dividends for me. It's an area you could refer to as a transition zone where I believe feeding or more active fish tend to go. For pike as well fishing higher in the water column tends to provide success. When I say higher when fishing 10ft of water you may want to jig Williams wobbler at 5ft. This technique worked well for me recently with multiple fish in one day. Best of luck and hope this helps.
