Is anyone willing to share some knowledge about using this app/data for finding walleye? What are the best features to look for, depths, etc?
How about time of day? Should I be changing my approach/location from morning to afternoon to evening? I'm guessing yes, but I'd like to know more!
Teach me!
For me it is morning as sun is rising and the first hour or two as prime, also 1 hour before and shortly after dusk(sundown)
Navionics is my fav app. I look for 14 to 15 feet of water and then find those little drop off areas that will go 17 to 19 or 20 feet.
Turn on community updates on your Navionics so that you might see where some individual has marked fish location.
If you are using navionics make sure you use SonarChart in you map settings as this can give you a more defined bottom.
