Please join us for the 2017 Bowmanville Tackle Swap and Fishing show on Sunday Mar 12th at a NEW and Larger venue Clarington Central Secondary School, which is located at 200 Clarington Blvd (behind the Home Depot). We have over 100 Vendors at the show and over 70 tables of new and used fishing rods, reels, tackle, gear, and apparel ; being sold by fishing companies and anglers at amazing prices. We will once again have lots of free draw prizes for some great fishing gear. And raffle draws and a silent auction to raise funds for the local Salvation Army and Ringwood Hatchery.

Again, all kids 13 years and under will received a free bag of plastic baits courtesy Widow Maker Lures Canada. We will have the Kids Casting stage again where kids can practice their casting and the first 250 kids to do some practice cast will receive a Free lure courtesy of Lucky Strike. Thanks to the Ontario Women Angler for running this. Manufacture reps and pro-staff will be on hand to answer any questions about their products. Metro East Anglers will have a tank there with some of the hatchery fish from the Ringwood Hatchery.

Our Special guest will be JP Derose host of the show Breaking Boundaries. JP will be on our casting stage showing us pitching and flipping basics, rod and reel set up, and you can practice some cast on our casting stage under the watchful eye of JP. Roy Nichol Chevrolet will have some of their vehicles on display on site and they will have some show only special on their vehicles.

The entry fee into the show is either a non-perishable food donation per family, which will be donated to the Bowmanville Salvation Army food bank or $3.00 per family. Sales are CASH ONLY!
Hope to see you at this year’s show again. Bring the kids and the family. Let’s raise some funds for some great charities and collect a ton of food for the Salvation Army.
Let’s talk fishing on March 12th!
