I fished Sherman's (off the boat launch) this evening. A good 4"-6" of ice all the way out to the middle. A good pile of Jumbo's but no walleye! :( Seen a few guys sitting out down off of the point... I may make the trek down there in the morning (depending on crossing the pressure crack). Does anyone have any updates on Huffs? Tight Lines

I wouldnt be out here on a bike. Theres been a couple and the ice is mking some nasty noises. Some jerk just went by me 10 feet from my hut and i thought the ice was going to crack under me. Had a bike with 2 adults and a trailer with 4-6 kids. Cant believe the lack of respect people have. Lots of room theres only3 of us over this way why drive 10 feet from my hut

I was on no less than 8" today. There were over half a dozen atv and snowmobiles.
One guy was towing a wooden hut and took off probably 3km if not further towards picton.

Please check before you try but there was lots of ice out there

I also saw the ATV with the wooden hut go towards picton and know that there was 4 to 5 inches no more than 200 yards away from him ....also there was some areas that were only 3 to 3.5 inches as well in that same area
Everybody have to make there own decision as to what is safe or not
My own opinion ...borderline ....if you don't go through it was safe some would say...if for you go through some would call you an idiot ...myself ...I will leave my machine at home
About couple of inches of snow Corey

Red... totally agree!!!

I am an avid fisherman, my machine will stay at home!!

There's no way there is enough consistent ice... key word is consistent !!

To each his own.

Totally agree!!!! Ice is very inconsistent. I wouldn't risk it.
