Was on the bay in belleville probaly a week ago now with the little bit of mild temps its been out has the ice changed at all ik when i was out there it was 9in. in the area i was in

I'm also interested to know what the ice conditions are like in Big Bay.
I would assume there's plenty, but its a 2+ hr trip for me and I wouldnt want to get all the way there to find out it's not safe.

I just called County Shores and they said that they have open water there today, pretty much. Their parking lot is CLOSED and they won't allow anyone to launch from there. Sounds like the ice season might be done for Quinte. I'll look elsewhere.

8 inches of solid ice at point anne on 11 feb saturday. i was out approx 1 km directly south. iced 9 perch in 1 - 2 hrs. be safe.

Read Pat Comeau's post at the top of the page. Sounds like there is 15 inches where he checked for his derby this weekend. Somewhere in the Belleville area.
