new to the site and ive never fished a steelhead run. Wondering if anyones seen them running yet and/or spots to go to when season starts in shelter valley. Also if anyone has info about fishing them in the trent or moira thatd be appreciated!

try calling shelter valley campgrounds they used to let people fish there for a fee they own about 2 miles of the creek

try trout eggs or silver spinners

Yep, everyone is using roe, so it bite is slow switch to a single egg and if nothing else try worms. Depending on the rain this week it could be clear so I always try white roe bags. Also watch your float, I watch and don't wait for my float to go down, when it goes sideways il set the hook, they can be finicky and strike that light.

Also be careful where your fishing, most places are private property and the police are always out from king Rd all the way down.

Good luck and tight lines

Paul
